Runner-up 2009 Zuiderduin Masters, he makes history this year as the player who has made the most World Pro appearances – 17 in total since his debut in 1994. He won the title in 2007 - and reached his fifth Semi-Final (1995, 2002, 2006, 2008 and 2009) just 12 months ago. He’s also had three Quarter-Final finishes (1994, 1996 & 1999) and was runner-up in 2005. He realised another lifelong ambition when he won the 2008 Winmau World Masters (he was runner-up in 2006) and trhen became only the second player in the long history of the Masters to successfully defend the title in 2009. The 2009 Centre Parcs Masters Men’s Singles Champion, he is the 2008 and 2009 British Pentathlon Champion and won the 2008 WDF Europe Cup Pairs title with John Walton (he has now won the Europe Cup Pairs title three times with three different partners). He is England’s longest serving captain (since 1993) and the most capped England player of all time. He has lifted both the WDF World Cup and WDF Europe Cup on four occasions each. Crowned 1995 and 2001 WDF World Cup Men’s Singles Champion, he was World Cup Pairs Champion in 1995 and 2003, and Europe Cup Pairs Champion in 2002. He lives in Peterborough with wife Sharon. They have two grown-up sons, Warren and Darren.
