The record-breaking 7 times Women’s World Champion from 2001 to 2007, she is also a record breaking five times Winmau World Masters Champion and her magnificent 92 match unbeaten run for her county Warwickshire, stretches from 1998 to 2009. And to put the icing on the cake, she captained England Women to Gold Medals in both the Singles and Pairs in the 1999, 2003 and 2005 WDF World Cups, and to Team and Pairs Gold in the 2004 WDF Europe Cup and Singles, Pairs and Team Gold in the 2006 WDF Europe Cup. Her achievements are far too numerous to mention, but in 2009 alone she has won the Dutch Open Women’s Singles, Isle-of-Man Open, German Open, BDO International Open, the British Pentathlon for the third time, plus the England National Singles and the England Masters. She was also runner-up in the 2009 Winmau World Masters, and Semi-Finalist in the 2009 Zuiderduin Masters. Voted first ever BBC TV Midlands Sports Personality Of The Year, she is without doubt the most successful player in the history of women’s darts.
